MINSTER ARTS & CRAFTS SHOW SUMMARY

The Minster Oktoberfest, held in Minster, Ohio, which is estimated to have over 80,000 in attendance

thru the weekend event, and includes such attractions as live German Music, Polka Dancing, 

10K Race, a spectacular Parade, fine German Food and an Arts & Crafts Show .


The Minster Oktoberfest Arts & Crafts Show is a Juried Show and all applications must be filled out completely 

and received by MAY 1st, 2025 . Applicants will be arranged by category.

PLOTS:

We provide two types of plots 8’ x 10’ and 8’ x 15’. If you would like to have more than one plot or would like a certain location, please specify that information in the “Additional Information” section of the application. We do our best to meet everyones needs. 8’ x 10’ = $160 ~ 8’ x 15’ = $240


MEDIA:

Hand Crafted items are accepted first and then other vendor applications are evaluated and accepted. All applicants must submit 5 photos of their work. Samples of work are optional. Included a standard size self addressed stamped envelope (SASE) for the return of photos and acceptance of application. If a SASE is not included, and you are selected, a $5 processing fee will be added to your plot cost. Your contract and photos will be returned in the envelope you provide.


All entries wil be arranged by category and juried by a selection committee. Preference is given to handmade items, vendors selling items that are pre-made or purchased items will be considered after the hand-made items are voted on. Applicants will be notified of acceptance / rejection by mid/late May 2025.


Any merchandise with "Minster Oktoberfest, Oktoberfest Minster, Ohio & any variations of these names" on it must get written approval from the Minster Oktoberfest board to be able to sell it during the Minster Oktoberfest. EXHIBIT SPACE:

All spaces are under tents which are furnished by the Oktoberfest. Exhibitors are responsible for their own displays, tables, and set ups. Electrical outlets will be furnished. ELECTRICAL HEATERS ARE NOT PERMITTED . If accepted, you will receive an Acceptance / Remittance Agreement form which must be returned with Rental Fees paid in full by June 30th, 2025. If your payment is not received by this date, your space may be forfeited to another vendor, if there is a waiting list.


Be sure to include: 

 

  • Payment for parking and your plot (processing fee if applicable)  
  • Copy of proof of insurance  
  • Minster Oktoberfest Acceptance Agreement Form 

 

The rental fee is non-refundable for cancellations after August 30th, 2025.


SET UP & SHOW TIMES:

Set up can begin anytime after 9:00am on Friday, October 3rd, 2025 and must be completed by 5:00pm. 


SHOW TIMES ARE:

OCTOBER 3rd, FRIDAY - 6:00pm to 10:00pm

OCTOBER 4th, SATURDAY - 10:00am to 10:00pm

OCTOBER 5th, SUNDAY - 10:00am to 5:00pm


Tent spaces are defined with spray paint and sidewalk chalk pending on weather conditions. The booths will be ready for set-up by 9:00am Friday morning. Reserved parking spaces will be assigned and passed out when you arrive on Friday. All money made from the parking spaces is donated to St. Augustine church for use of their parking lot.


The Minster Oktoberfest Committee reserves the right to reject, at any time, applicants or exhibitors that are not in the best interest of this event. Fireworks, noise makers are prohibited. Vendors are also not permitted to hold any type of raffle.


The Village of Minster, the Oktoberfest Committee, and the Chairpersons are not responsible for any accident, injury or lost/damage of any property. Security does patrol the grounds after closing, however, it is your responsibility to ensure the safe keeping of your merchandise. This is a German Heritage celebration. Alcohol is permitted on the park grounds.
